Today was very special for me and the day happened ALL because of you!!! Today I received a "Teacher Recognition" award from "The Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership" along with 11 other teachers in Metro Jackson. The meal was wonderful and it was great having Dr. Bowen, Mr. Mullen, Pat White, and my sweet husband with me for this event. It was even more wonderful to look into the booklet and find that my church and my husband and boys had put beautiful ads in for me.(I will enclose a picture of these later.) I am so humbled by this award and I will never forget how great it made me feel.
I want all of you precious students, staff, and parents to know that this was an award that could only happen because of you. I am so very proud to teach in such a wonderful school with the support and talents that you students bring to the classroom each day. I think about you 24 hours of each day.....praying that I am meeting all of your needs. THANK YOU!!! I am so proud of you!!! I cannot wait to follow you throughout your futures to see where life is going to take you.
I share my "teaching award" with you because you are the ones that inspire me to \ come to school each day!!! I am so BLESSED to have students like you. I am so blessed to have the support of a wonderful staff. I am so blessed to have the support of my students' parents and of the stakeholders in this school system. THANK YOU!!!
