Dr. Suess Day!!!
Celebrating the birthday of Dr. Suess was made perfect with the wonderful volunteer readers from Mississippi College and the community. Ms. Sasser organized and planned a great event enjoyed by all. Students donned their "Suess" hats and enjoyed hearing the stories read by the volunteer readers. Even lunch was made special as students wore their hats as they ate. Students in the younger Montessori classes got to experience Green Eggs and Ham as they tasted "green" eggs. WHAT a GREAT DAY!!! We are so thankful to all who helped make this day special.

Students Sewing After School
Something NEW this year!!! Mrs. Land teaches students to sew. Her goal is to teach 12 students the basics of sewing before the year ends. Two girls worked on some purses and two others have made skirts. Mrs. Land is very proud of these girls.
"Teaching students to sew is a very important skill because all through life there will be moments when this skill can be of the greatest benefit." (Mrs. Land)
