More Art Expressions!!!

Students in the afternoon Art Expressions class enjoyed learning about artist, Gail Pittman and viewing some actual plates from her collection. Students then designed their own plate to send to Gail Pittman. This ART ACTIVITY is inspired by some of the Professional Development gained from A4MA. We are excited to participate in A4MA, a grant from the Ford Foundation!

A friendly smile in the hallway from Mrs. Johnson!

Having snacks before the painting begins.

DADS SPEND TIME AT OUR SCHOOL

The week of February 16 was very exciting as the dads, granddads, and uncles visited our school and spent time with the students. Dads were a great help as they monitored the cafeteria, stood in the hallways, helped children into the cars and onto the buses. The staff and students loved having our dads at school. The children of those dads were especially proud to have their special person at school. We look forward to seeing more and more of our dads at school.

DADS stop for a brief moment to take a picture.

Mr. Mullen proudly greets this dad.

Smiles are on the faces as the Dads enter the building.
