Black History Program with the Fourth graders and many other students took place on February 28 at 6:00 p.m. The honored guest was Honorable Judge Winston Kidd who delivered a very motivating speech. Dr. Wanda Bowen encouraged parents to continue to support their children by making sure that students were in school, that they did their homework at night, and that they make sure that students do homework and study as the District Tests approach and the rigorous preparation for MCT2 approaches. Kindergarten students presented two songs and other students presented a variety of entertainment for the audience emphasizing the leaders from the past, present, and the future. It was a night enjoyed by all!

Dr. Bowen talks about upcoming tests!

"Parents, we need your help!"

Judge Kidd motivates the audience with powerful words of wisdom. One main thought....."What would our forefathers really think about all that is going on with our young children today? Would they be happy with what is happening?" (Thoughts interpreted by Mrs. Land)
